Planning Fees

Please note that planning fees are set by central government and are due to increase annually each April. If you submit an invalid application prior to the fee increase and your application is made valid after the fee increase, you will be charged at the higher fee rate (i.e. the relevant fee due at the time the application becomes valid). This will be applied irrespective of the reason for invalidity.

Documents needed to support your application

All planning applications require supporting documents.

If you're applying for changes to windows or doors, download our desired documents guidance - this document only applies to window and door applications.

For all other application types, use the headings below to show you which documents you'll need to submit, along with guidance and examples to help you submit acceptable documents. If you need this information in a more accessible format, email planning@rutland.gov.uk.

If you apply without submitting the correct documents, this will cause a delay in receiving your planning decision notice.
