Narrator: Interested in monitoring the health of your portfolio? Schwab offers tools to help you gauge your portfolio's performance over time and compare it to your investment strategy. To get started, select Accounts, then select Portfolio Performance.

Narrator: From here, you can see an overview of the portfolio in each of your accounts. Select the account drop-down, then choose the account or portfolio that you would like to review. Note that these portfolios are created within Portfolio Checkup.

Narrator: Specify a custom date range by either clicking the date filters or setting a custom range of your choosing. Some accounts or portfolios may not have the full performance history available up to the inception date.

Narrator: The charts displayed are interactive and allow you to view individual data points. Hover over the data to display a tooltip that reveals performance indicators for the days in the range you selected.

Narrator: If you are interested in comparing your accounts or portfolio performance to different market indexes, select one or more of the choices under Common indexes, or select More indexes & definitions to choose up to five options to compare against.

Narrator: Want to see a breakdown of your assets, and where they are allocated? Select the Asset Allocation tab, then select the desired account or portfolio from the drop-down menu.

Narrator: Within the Allocation section, you'll find a chart displaying your asset allocation by predefined classes or groups. Select a cell to view the securities allocated within that classification.

Narrator: Scroll down to see the Assets section, which displays the same data in a table format. Select one of the asset classes to view the security distribution of that class.
